User Account Control is a system feature designed to provide increased security when running programmes that require administrator rights and can make changes to the system.
When running such programs, the “Allow this application to make changes to your device?” window appears, the screen darkens, and third-party programs are restricted from accessing the darkened screen
Disabling account control:
- Open the User Account Control settings window in one of the following ways (start searching for “User Account Control”).
- The Account Control Settings window opens.
- To disable account control completely, move the switch on the left to the bottom – “Never notify” and apply the settings (these actions will disable account control completely).
- If you select the second option from the bottom – individual UAC notifications will appear (when running third party programs that may change anything at system level), but the screen will not dim.
